Labs and equipment
The Technological-Metallurgical Faculty – Skopje has modernly equipped laboratories that represent an important part of the teaching and scientific-research process. Through practical work in laboratory conditions, students have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge, acquire real engineering skills, and become familiar with the methods and instruments used in modern industry and scientific research.
The laboratories of the faculty and are intended for the implementation of the teaching practice, the preparation of the project and the project objectives, as well as for the implementation of the experimental research. They carry out the analysis, measurement and test which provide a better understanding of the technological processes, the properties of the material and a variety of engineering solutions.
Practical training is conducted in an environment that encourages students to actively learn, study, and work in a team. With the support of the faculty and laboratory staff, and students are trained in the proper use of laboratory equipment, the following safety procedures, and perform the experiments with a high degree of accuracy and reliability.
In addition to his teaching role, the laboratories are also the basis for the scientific and research work of the faculty. They allow for the implementation of research projects and cooperation with industrial partners, where we are developing innovative solutions, and to suggest improvements in the technology as well. In this way, ТМФ, creates an environment in which knowledge is transformed into practical relevance and contribution to the development of the society as a whole.
